Reiki for Animals
Animals are great receivers of energy. They know how much to receive and for how long.
Animals take in Reiki energy quicker than people, so Reiki sessions are shorter in length. Animals need Reiki in the same way that people would need Reiki. Reiki works on physical needs such as with accidents, illness, pain,or disease. Reiki can help with emotional issues too. Reiki will not change the personality of an animal but can help lessen the severity of an issue. When animals are approaching stages of dying, Reiki can help ease the time of the transition as well. Animals have a natural instinct to let go of the end of life and seem to welcome Reiki energy to help ease that time for them as well as for the emotional pain for their people.
Reiki and neglected animals:
Jennifer volunteers her time through out the year with an animal sancutary called Animal Haven. Animal Haven is a nonprofit agency for abused and neglected farm animals.
It is beautiful to see the animals healing through physical pain and past abuse from people. Reiki helps bring back a trust with humans!
Please visit Animal Haven of Asheville at [email protected] or email them at [email protected] and see for yourself the wonderful things that they do for animals.
Sessions with animals:
Sessions are usually 15-30 minutes but vary in length depending on the needs of the animal being treated. Treatment cost is $25 plus the travel cost of $10 if treated at the home of the animal. The treatments usually occur at the home of the animal unless the animal is able to travel and feels comfortable at the Asheville Reiki Center.
